Tinsukia

Tinsukia is situated 480 kilometres north-east of Guwahati. It is the administrative headquarters of Tinsukia District of Assam, India.

Nalbari

Nalbari is an administrative district in the state of Assam in India. The district headquarters is located at Nalbari.

Bongaigaon

The city offers a rich heritage of historical buildings, old temples, and forests for tourists. It is also well known for its petrochemical industry.

Barpeta

Barpeta has been a place of great religious importance. Known by various names like Tatikuchi, Porabhita, Mathura, Vrindavan, Choukhutisthan.

Baksa

Baksa district is located in the north-western part of Assam with the district headquarter at Mushalpur, which is 105 Km away from state capital Dispur.

Cachar

The District of Cachar is located in the Southernmost part of Assam is one of the oldest district of Assam.Cachar receives an average annual rainfall of more than 3,000 mm.

Charaideo

The maidams situated in Charaideo make the district an attractive tourist destination.The maidams are actually burial grounds of Ahom Kings and Queens.

Chirang

The word "Chirang" has been derived from garo word -"chi" means water and "rang" means wealth. The climate is sub-tropical in nature with warm and humid summer.

Biswanath

Biswanath is an administrative district in the state of Assam in India. It is one of newly created district in the year by 2015, declared by Assam Chief Minister Tarun Gogoi on 15 August 2015.

Darrang

Darrang is an administrative district in the state of Assam in India. The district headquarters are located at Mangaldoi. The district occupies an area of 1585 km2.

Dhemaji

The district's name Dhemaji which means great water. The name is a reference to the region being prone to flooding.

Dhubri

It is an old town on the bank of the Brahmaputra river. In 1883, the town was first constituted as a Municipal Board under the British regime. It is situated about 277.4 km west from Dispur.

Dibrugarh

Dibrugarh is a city in Upper Assam with sprawling tea gardens. Dibrugarh has a humid subtropical climate with extremely wet summers and relatively dry winters.

DimaHasao

Dima Hasao was part of the Dimasa Kingdom, with its capital at Maibang and Dimapur. Dima Hasao district occupies an area of 4,888 square

Goalpara

Goalpara is located on the bank of the river Brahmaputra Goalpara district consists of four assembly constituencies which are Goalpara East, Goalpara West, Jaleshwar and Dudhnoi.

Golaghat

Golaghat encompasses a total area of 17 square kilometres. Golaghat has a subtropical highland climate like dry and sunny winters and warm, humid and very wet summers.

Hailakandi

Hailakandi district occupies an area of 1,327 square kilometres. There are total of two reserve forests in Hailakandi district, Inner line reserve forest and Katakhal reserve forest.

Hojai

Hojai is one of the important hubs of agarwood oil extraction and trade.In 2019, the Assam government under Sarbananda Sonowal allowed plantation of agarwood in five hectares.

Jorhat

Jorhat is known as the Cultural Capital of Assam. It has rich contributions in the fields of arts, culture and tradition of the contemporary Assamese society.

Kamrup Metro

Administrative headquarters of Kamrup Metropolitan district is at Guwahati city. The district occupies an area of 1527.84 km².

Kamrup Rural

Kamrup district occupies an area of 4,345 square kilometres. Kamrup district has some territorial disputes with neighbouring West Khasi Hills district, Meghalaya.

Karbi Anglong

Karbi Anglong is a hidden gem that embodies natural beauty and cultural richness. Nestled amidst the lush green hills of Northeast India, this district is home to diverse communities.

Sribhumi

It is located in southern Assam and borders Tripura and the Sylhet Division of Bangladesh. It is an important centre of trade and commerce in the North East India.

Kokrajhar

Kokrajhar is a town in the Bodoland Territorial Region, an autonomous territory in Assam. It is located along the bank of the river Gaurang.

Lakhimpur

The name Lakhimpur is believed to be originated from the word Lakshmi, the goddess of prosperity. The district is mainly dependent upon agriculture and paddy.

Majuli

Majuli is a large river island located in Assam, India. It is formed by the Brahmaputra River to the south and east, the Subansiri River to the west.

Morigaon

Morigaon district occupies an area of 1,704 square kilometres. There are three Assam Legislative Assembly constituencies in this district: Jagiroad, Morigaon, and Laharighat.

Nagaon

Nagaon is a city and a municipal board in Nagaon district in the Indian state of Assam. It is situated 122.6 kilometres east of Guwahati.

Sivasagar

Sivasagar is a town and headquarter of the Sivasagar district, Assam. Sivasagar is situated about 360 kilometers (224 mi) northeast of Guwahati..

Sonitpur

Sonitpur district is an administrative district in the state of Assam in India. The district headquarters is located at Tezpur.

South Salmara Mancachar

The district headquarter is located at Hatsingimari village which is situated at about 245 km from Guwahati. It was earlier a sub-division of the Dhubri District.

Udalguri

The name Udalguri, denotes a place surrounding the Udal tree. Udalguri district falls under Darrang Duars which includes the region between the Bornadi River and Dhansiri River.

West Karbi Anglong

It is a relatively new district formed out of the existing Karbi Anglong district in 2016. The administrative headquarters of the district is located at Hamren.

With over 10 years of experience, Kunal is a highly motivated GIS Expert. He holds a Master's degree in Geomatics from CEPT University (2012) and is a certified UAV remote pilot. Previously with the Assam State Space Application Centre, Kunal excels in GIS applications, UAV image processing, and project management. Currently, he leads our GIS team, ensuring the smooth operation and optimization of all GIS-related works.

Hemanta has valuable experience from his work on projects with NEPC, DST-NMHSE funded project under Gauhati University, and Directorate of Census Operation Assam under the Ministry of Home Affairs.
